Cleaning the digestive system from toxins is a complex process, and there are several approaches but whatever you do you should always take to support its natural detoxification functions to eliminate toxins and waste products instead of relying on detox practices. You should always keep your digestive system clean and follow a healthy lifestyle to avoid diseases.
It’s important to note that detoxification should be approached with caution, and extreme or prolonged detox programs may not be necessary or beneficial for everyone. If you have specific health concerns or conditions, it’s always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.
Detox ideas are only for people who have NO underlying disease or symptoms and consulted with their doctors: keep in mind whatever you do always listen to your body and the reaction it gives.
While the wheather is hot the digestive power decreases since the body doesn’t need extra energy to keep the body warm it slows down the digestive process. That’s why there are different plants and fruits to consume in summer other than winter. Since the digestion slows down you can easily do some detox in summer days.
There are several practices you can incorporate into your routine to support the detox process. Here are some common strategies that I will tell in 3 different posts in coming days.
Detox Number 1
For 3 days you can drink ayran (one or two table spoon yogurt mixed with water). And drink it instead of consuming solid food. In between you can drink normal water but do not take any other type of fruit or vegetable juice. After the 3rd day you can start eating normal food again.
If you have no issues with high blood pressure you should add some Himalayan salt.
Himalayan salt is claimed to have a higher mineral content than regular table salt, containing trace minerals like potassium, magnesium, and calcium, which may be beneficial for overall health. That’s why the mineral composition of Himalayan salt may help maintain electrolyte balance in the body, which is essential for nerve function, hydration, and muscle contractions. Due to its trace mineral content Himalayan salt can aid in better hydration, supporting fluid balance in the body.
